Our Go Skateboard Day event was a success. We had a lot of loyal skateboarders come and skate our rails, ramps, and grind boxes. Everyone had a great time and the weather was crystal clear. We couldn’t have asked for more. We can’t wait until next year. Michele at Enjoybellevue.org made a newsletter and blog post about the event. Check it out here.

Our best trick contest consisted of two obstacles chosen by the entered skaters. They chose the Bayne stair set and the “Cali” Bench. The winner of each 20 minute session on the obstacles competed in a game of skate to crown the final winner. Marcus won the stair session with a clean kasperflip down the set. Runner up stair trick was a varial heelflip by Ulf Bertram. Jarred Michalski won the bench session with a kickflip backside smith on the top of the bench.

After that, Jarred went home with the best trick contest winnings by defeating Marcus during the final game of skate. Marcus went home with a runner up prize. Thanks to all of the skateboarders that entered the contest.
